Funeral services for Albert O. Williams, age 79 of Denver City, Texas will be held Monday, May 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Denver City, with Rev. Billy Everett officiating. Burial will follow in Denver City Memorial Park. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Chapel of Denver City, in association with Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.

Mr. Williams passed away Thursday, May 13, 2010 at his residence in Denver City. He was born July 20, 1930 in Post, Texas to Florence (Brandon) and Albert Orous Williams, Sr. He married Juanece Terrell on November 22, 1956 in Denver City.

Albert Williams was a self-employed farmer, a hard worker, and a good provider for his family. He enjoyed fishing at the Rio Grande River. Traveling with his children and grandchildren to stock shows and rodeos was a great joy to him. He loved to tell stories of his childhood.

Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jaunece in in 1986; three brothers, Arlie Williams, Leonard "Red" Williams, and Charlie Williams; and by one sister, Marie Milliken. He is survived by: two sons Danny Williams & wife Tonnia of Denver City, Texas and Larry Williams of Floydada, Texas; one daughter Alisa Ashton & husband Richard of Midland, Texas; one brother Wayne Williams of Denver City, Texas; two sisters Edith Kidd of Denver City, Texas and Dora Alderson of Lamesa, Texas; and seven grandchildren. www.boyerfuneralhome.net
