Funeral services for Sylvia Galvan, 56, will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel of Denver City with Pastor Neil Vanderbush officiating. Interment will follow in the Denver City Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, January 13th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel. She passed away January 10th in Lubbock.
Sylvia was born March 10, 1960 to Valentin and Rosa Galvan. She was an administrative assistant for Salty Dawg Trucking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Valentin and Rosa Galvan, also two brothers, David and Albert Ramirez, and two sisters, Anita Beatley and Roseann Gicklhorn. Sylvia is survived by two brothers, Valente “CoCo” Galvan and his wife Leaanna and Arthur Galvan and his wife Melissa all of Denver City; two sisters, Margie Galvan of Lubbock and Diana Buffington of Denver City; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Source: talktownradio.com
