James H. BAKER

Hillcrest Cemetery
Bell County,
Texas

May 1, 1824 - July 1, 1896

Mr. J. H. Baker, one of Temple’s oldest and best-known citizens, passed quietly to the great beyond Tuesday. He had been ailing for some time, but he was not thought dangerously ill. Toward the close of his life, he lost his reasoning and had to be looked after like a child. He leaves a wife, three sons and two daughters to mourn his loss. The bereaved ones have our sympathy.
