DENVER CITY - Funeral Mass for Marina Granado Natividad, 37, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at J.W. Jones Auditorium in Denver City with Father Trine Fuentes officiating. Interment will follow in the Denver City Memorial Park under direction of Ratliff Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
Marina was born Aug. 6, 1967, in Pecos to Roger and Rosa Granado. She married Joey Natividad on June 15, 1996, in Denver City. Marina lived in Pecos 17 years before moving to Denver City 19 years ago. A graduate of the College of the Southwest, she had been a Pre-K teacher with the Denver City Independent School District for 10 years. She was an active member of St. William's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Joey; one son, Aaron; one daughter, Alexandra; her parents of Pecos; two brothers, Nicholas Granado of Flower Mound and Christopher Granado and wife Wanda of Odessa; her grandparents; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Pallbearers are members of the Denver City Volunteer Fire Department. Source: Ratliff Funeral Home.
