Rosary service for Henry Adamek, 92, of Slaton will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, at Englunds Chapel. Resurrection Mass service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Nicholas Rendon officiating. Interment will be in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service in Slaton. Mr. Adamek died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005.

He was born July 29, 1912 in Bell County. Henry married Marie Ondreas Dec. 31, 1935 in Temple. They moved to Slaton in 1944 from Tahoka. He retired from Sikes Machine after 37 years. A son, Pat Adamek, preceded Henry in death July 9, 2000.

His survivors include his wife, Marie; son, Henry Michael Adamek of Bay Center, Wash.; daughters, Janet Reynolds of Southland and Judith Tullis of Plainview; brother, Franklin Ellis of Victoria; sisters, Lilly Vasek Brambelo of Temple, Georgia Doggett of Rosenburg, Evelyn Wilcox of New Bedford, Mass. and Narcis Arledge of Weatherford; 12 grandchildren; 1 9 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.

Nicholas Rendon officiating. Interment will be in Slaton's Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service.

Mrs. Adamek was born Feb. 2, 1915 in Cameron. She passed from this life Friday, March 4, 2005. Marie married Henry Adamek on Dec. 31, 1935 in Cameron.

Henry preceded her in death Jan. 24, 2005, and a son, Pat, July 9, 2000.

They lived in Littlefield and New Home, and moved to Slaton in 1944. She was a homemaker, member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters and the Altar Society.

Marie is survived by one son, Henry Michael Adamek of Bay Center, WA.; two daughters, Janet Reynolds of Southland and Judith Tullis of Plainview; three sisters, Angie Caborne of Riviera, Christine Slavik and Jody Pernice, both of Cameron; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
