Eldest son of William Theodore Peacock and Gylia Ann Ivey Peacock. Married Amanda Hedgepeth and after her death in 1890s married Beulah "Babe" Handley. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. His children were Effie Peacock Smith, Nettie Peacock Castleberry, both of DeKalb, Will Peacock, Paul Peacock, Silas Peacock, & Curtis Peacock all of Boxelder. His siblings were James Rushing Peacock of Mississippi, Narcissa Jenkins & Lizzie Eusey of Indianapolis, Indiana, Elmer Elsworth Peacock of Lydia, W. T. Peacock II of Tulsa, OK, George A. Peacock of New Hope.
