Virgil Green
Virgil Alfred Green, 72, of Cyclone died Thursday, November 04, 2004 at his home. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cyclone with Rev. Walter Matus Officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph cemetery. Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Saturday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
Mr. Green was born in the Meeks community of Bell County to William Richard and Matilda Johanna (Heble) Green. He married Joyce Lynn Ruzicka on November 20, 1952. He worked in the Make Ready Dept. of Johnson Brothers Ford for 32 years. Mr. Green was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include: His wife Joyce Green of Cyclone; Sons Larry Green of Cameron, Dennis Green of Cameron; Daughters Lynda Wimmer of Cameron, Susan Reinders of Cameron; Brothers Melvin Green of Temple, Willis Green of Zabcikville, Garlin Green of Temple, Henry Green of Belton, Mike Green of Temple ; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Vistacare Hospice in Temple.
