MRS. JOHN HUSE, DEPARTS THIS LIFE
Rosa Katherine Williamson was born January 24, 1874 in Rockwall, she moved with her parents to Kaufman County, locating near Becker community when a small child. She was married to John M. Huse on November 17, 1895. To this union nine children were born, three of whom died in infancy. Mr. and Mrs. Huse came to McLendon, in Rockwall county in 1905, then moved to Chisholm where they lived for three years, and then in 1913 they moved to Rockwall. At which place Mr. Huse died on February 4, 1947. Mrs. Huse had been very ill for a number of years, and on Sunday, January 23 at 1:45 P.M. she departed this life at the family home in Rockwall. Funeral services were held in the Baptist Church in this city, Monday, January 24 at 3 p.m., being conducted by Rev. F.B. Hamilton and the Rev. J.C. Smith. Burial was in the Rockwall Cemetery. The pallbearers were: Henry McCreary, Pike Benbrook, Leon Dawson, Robert, Charlie and Olen Webb. Mrs. Huse is survived by five sons, viz; George and Sam Huse of Rockwall, Jim Huse of Chillicothe; H.H. Huse, of Rowlett and Johnny Huse of Denison, and a daughter, Mrs. Verna O'Dell, of Rockwall; nine grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Ida Holbert of Kemp
