Lucy was born in Stringtown, Texas, to Edward and Retta Jane Weems. She was married to Ted Hill on July 22, 1922 in Temple, Texas.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law: Colleen and Charles Willis of Moody, Dorrace and Virgil Poe of Houston, and Marjorie and James Hamilton of Oglesby.
Five Grandchildren: Jayne Poe Massey, Ted Poe and his wife Carol, Stephen Willis and his wife Marilyn, Phyllis Willis, and Gary Willis and his wife Mary.
