Graveside services for Keith Gandy, 63, of Seminole were held Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the Gaines County Cemetery at Seminole with Bro. Ray Young officiating. The services were under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole. He passed away Tuesday, May 12 in Lubbock.
Keith was born February 25, 1957 in Big Spring to Ronnie and Barbara Posey Gandy. He was employed by TxDOT for 28 years before retiring and then had been employed by Gaines County since 2017. Keith enjoyed working with cattle, fishing, and gardening. He loved being with his grandkids. Keith was preceded in death by his parents Ronnie and Barbara Gandy.
Keith is survived by his son Brian Keith Gandy and wife Megan of Seminole; a brother Kevin Gandy and wife Lynn of Amarillo; a sister Kara Beth Cox and husband Robert of Austin; an uncle Bob Gandy and wife Kathy; an aunt Claudia Wendt; along with four grandchildren Kadence, Levi, Raylen and Zella Gandy; four nieces Matison Dreher and husband Chris, Savannah Cox, Rylie Cox and Claire Cox; four nephews Chris Gandy and wife Anya, Josh Robertson, Matt Robertson and wife Lindsay, and Adam Robertson; three great nieces and one great nephew.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to New Mexico Children’s Home, 1356 New Mexico Hwy 236, Portales, New Mexico 88130-9411.
