Jesse Trevino, born in McAllen, Texas on December 17, 1985 to Jesse Humberto Trevino and San Juanita Cruz, passed away on February 14, 2020. He is survived by his parents, Jesse Trevino of Austin and Janie Cruz (Cesar Banegas) of Houston; siblings: Joshua Trevino (Gemma) of Houston, and Angelea Banegas of San Antonio daughters: Camilla Hope Trevino, Nova Irene Trevino, Meadow Moon Wade; grandparents: Emilio and Guadalupe Cruz; paternal grandmother: Marita Ayala of Austin. He will also be greatly missed by his numerous aunts and uncles along with one niece and two nephews. Jesse proudly served his country, as a US ARMY veteran during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Some of his awards include: Iraq Campaign Medal West Three with 3 campaign stars; Army Commendation Medal; two awards for Army Good Conduct Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal Non-Commissioned officer Professional Development Ribbon; Army Service Ribbon and two Overseas Service Ribbons.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 between the hours of 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm with a 7:00 pm rosary at Virgil Wilson Mortuary in Mission. The funeral mass, officiated by Father Roy Snipes, will be at 9:30 am on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will full military honors, will be at 11:00 am at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery. Funeral Services are under the direction of Virgil Wilson Mortuary in Mission.
