Cirilda G. Tovar, 91 of Sebastian, TX, entered into rest Friday, October 24, 2014 in Harlingen Medical Center, surrounded by her family.
She was born on June 9, 1923 in Lyford, TX, daughter of Ignacio and Maria (Munoz) Gomez.
Cirilda is preceded in death by her husband, Jorge Tovar, Sr., her sons, Pedro, Jose, and infant son Juan Tovar, baby girl and grandson Michael Anthony Siller.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her sons: George (Olivia) Tovar, Jesus (Carmen) Tovar, Javier (Rosie) Tovar, all of Sebastian, Juan (Sandra) Tovar of Harlingen; daughters, Maria Elena (Tom) Senesac of Harlingen, Edna Scott of Louisiana, Alicia (Reynaldo) Rocha of Sebastian, Stella (Julian) Siller of Harlingen, Elvia (Manuel) Hernandez of Stillman, Emma (Tim) Galvan of Harlingen, Sylvia (Homer) Perez of Encino; 31 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Duddlesten Funeral Home, 604 W. Hidalgo, Raymondville, TX on Monday, October 27, 2014 with a rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at St Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Sebastian, TX on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Tovar Cemetery in Sebastian.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are George Tovar, III, Robert Abner Tovar, Lee Tovar, David Scott, Reynaldo Rocha, Jr., Jason Tovar, Adrian Siller and J.C. Tovar.
Honorary pallbearers are Lucas Tovar, Michael Tovar, Ashley Tovar and Beatice Tovar.
