EDNA KAYS
Funeral services for Edna Grace (Bland) Kays, 82, of Saint Jo are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday in McCoy Funeral Home Chapel in Saint Jo. Rev. Clarence Russell will officiate. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Sanger. Services are directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Saint Jo.
Mrs. Kays died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, in Nocona Hospital.
She was born Oct. 19, 1924, in Sanger to Harrison Douglas and Minnie (Dunlap) Bland. She retired from the Denton State School; she was a member of the Saint Jo 1st Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed sewing, along with working in the yard and the garden.
Survivors are her daughters, Carolyn Marple of Saint Jo, and Marsha Honea of Clifton; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parent; husband, Frank McCormick; and 13 brothers and sisters.
