Funeral Services Held for Roger D. PenningtonServices for Roger Dale Pennington, 20, of 2100 Hunters Creek, Denton were held Tuesday, July 18 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Sanger.Brother Ed Seale officiated. Pennington was born November 8, 1947 in Sanger. He died July 14th at Parkland Hospital, Dallas.He is survived by his wife, Evelyn of Denton, a son Clinton Dale, 2 and a daughter, Kerrie Ann, 3 also a son, Christopher, 6 of Bowie. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Beulah Bell Pennington of Sanger; one brother, Lonnie Pennington of Sanger; and six sisters, Dorothy Bartel of Aubrey, Clara Tipton, Doris Clampitt, Estalene Norris, Mild McDonald and Willie Mae Conley, all of Sanger.He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the Army. He belonged to the Sanger V.F.W. Burial was in the Sanger Cemetery under the direction of Dalton and Son Funeral Home of Lewisville.
