EGG
SHATTUCK, OKLA. - Martin Brooks Eggleston, 87, formerly of Higgins, Texas, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005, in Norman.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church in Higgins. Burial will be in Higgins Cemetery by Johnson's Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Shattuck.
Mr. Eggleston was born Aug. 2, 1917, in the Bishop Community in Ellis County to Austin and Beatrice LeStourgeon Eggleston. He married Enola Kay Hughes on Oct. 24, 1946, at Ashland, Kan.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Lisa Coles of Noble and Myra Karnes of Higgins; a son, Murry Eggleston of Beggs; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
