Obituary:
BOOKER - E.J. Trosper, 81, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in United Methodist Church with Mike Waterbury, pastor, and David Hearon, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Heart Cemetery by Johnson's Good Samaritan Funeral Service.
Mr. Trosper was born Jan. 27, 1923, in Beaver County, Okla., to Bazil Clinton Trosper and Ara Shearer Trosper. On Sept. 23, 1943, he married Elsie Simpson in Bell Gardens, Calif.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jay Trosper of Amarillo and Marvin Trosper of Bowling Green, Ky.; a brother, Cecil Trosper of Booker; a sister, Pauline Clark of Booker; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be to Kiowa Kountry in Booker or to a favorite charity.
