William Thomas Avery
CISCO -- William Thomas Avery, 82, died Saturday in an Abilene hospital.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Scranton Cemetery with Paul Sneed officiating, directed by Kimbrough Funeral Home.

Mr. Avery was born in Scranton and served with the U.S. Navy's Seabees in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a farmer.

Survivors include four daughters, Delores Way of Kerrville, Wanda Sneed and Doris Sneed, both of Cisco, and Yvonne Avery of Rockwall; one son, Jerry D. Avery of Cisco; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
