Johnny B. Harvey, 70, died June 22, 2013 at his home in Fritch. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Hansford Cemetery and Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tom Stribling of 1st United Methodist Church of Happy officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

John was born June 22, 1943 in Sayre, Oklahoma to J. D. and Mary Jane Gossett Harvey. He married Lyndall Marie Fleenor December 21, 1966 in Sunray, TX and had lived in Fritch since 1974. He was a self-employed Certified Public Accountant for many years and owned and operated Larry's Marine in Fritch for 20 years. They spent the last 18 summers in Eagle Nest, NM and owned the Eye of the Eagle gift and jewelry shop in Eagle Nest. He served in the
US Army as a Specialist 4 in Vietnam.

John was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Lyndall Marie, his son Wade Harvey and wife Rena of Fritch, his daughter JonAnn Marie Welch and husband Jackie of Inez, Texas, his brother Sam Harvey of Fritch, his two sisters Terri Harvey and Paula Snyder both of Dumas, his seven grandchildren Jonna Stanley, Britt Petitt, Chelsi Welch, Trey Welch, Daniel Segedy, Christian Segedy and Bailey Berinti.
