The 6th of 7 children, Jasil married Carl Hightower, the love of her, on 12 October 1936 ( at the age of 15). She went on to be a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. A wonderful homemaker she was very active in her community. She was PTA president, Garden Club president, and Sunday school teacher.
