Danny Herrington 68, of Spearman passed away Saturday July 20, 2019 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Visitation will be Friday evening July 26, 2019 from 6-8 P.M. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman. Graveside service will be held Saturday July 27, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Hansford Cemetery with Rev. David Theel officiating. Arrangements are with Boxwell Brothers Funeral home of Spearman.
Danny was born August 31, 1950 in Perryton, Texas to Clyde and Esther (Hardy) Herrington Jr. He served in the United States Army. He married Debbie Merydith on August 5, 1972 in Booker, Texas. Danny worked for Northern Natural Gas Company as a Meter Technician in Spearman. His hobbies were raising chickens and goats on his small farm. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Spearman.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Debbie in 2014 and a brother Clarence Herrington.
Danny is survived by 3 sons, Daniel Edward Herrington and his wife Jill of Spearman, Monty James Herrington of Liberal, Ks. and Coy Thomas Herrington of Spearman. 1 Brother Bob Herrington of Cheyenne, Wy., 2 Sisters Virginia Yatzkan of Tulsa, Ok. and Margie Mathes of Vernon, Tx. 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Family request memorials be to the American Heart Association or the Spearman Windmill Association.
