SPEARMAN - Grace Margaret Kirk, 96, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Christian Church with Jim Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Hansford Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.
Mrs. Kirk was born July 23, 1912, in Alva, Okla., to George and Lucy Mitts. She married Woodie Davis on Oct. 31, 1937, and he preceded her in death in 1956. She married Raymond M. Kirk on April 9, 1971, and he preceded her in death in 1999.
She graduated from Spearman High School in 1930. She worked in the Spearman School lunchroom for a number of years. She worked at the two dry cleaning establishments and the shoe store prior to her marriage to Raymond.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jeanette Kirk; four brothers, Floyd, M.L. "Buster," Chester and Lewis Mitts; and two sisters, Elsie Doctor and Myrtle Miller.
Survivors include a son, Roger Davis and wife Joyce of Oklahoma City; three granddaughters, Laurel Corbett, Alicia Zabin and Deanna Zabin; a grandson, David Zabin; and four great-grandchildren, Sydney and Hannah Corbett, Collin Kent and Macy Robinson.
The family suggests memorials be to First Christian Church, 29 S. Bernice St., Spearman, TX 79081.
