Pearl Thomas, 89, of Nocona, formerly of Darrouzett, died July 15, 1998.
Graveside services were held Saturday, July 18, at 10 a.m. in the Darrouzett Cemetery, with Rev. Jonathan Back officiating. Services were under the direction of Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Booker.
She was born November 9, 1908 in Poolville, and grew up in the Holliday area. She married Leslie Harvey THOMAS on March 4, 1927 in Electra. They lived in various places until moving to Darrouzett in 1967. After the death of her husband in 1988, she moved to Nocona.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Harvey THOMAS; three grandsons; three brothers; and her parents.
She is survived by two sons, Bobby THOMAS of Nocona and Jackie THOMAS of Cushing; two daughters, Ruth BOWLING of Darrouzett and Jean WILLIAMS of Texas City; one brother, George BATES of Decatur; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
