Funeral services for Jacob “Chino” Wall Friesen, 25, of Seminole will be conducted Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Summerfeld Church with the Rev. John Fehr officiating. Interment will follow in the Gaines County Cemetery with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole. Jacob passed away in Lincoln County, New Mexico on Saturday, June 6.
Jacob was born September 29, 1994 in Chihuahua, Mexico to David and Elena Wall Friesen. Jacob and MaryAnn Rempel were married July 16, 2016 in Seminole. He was a member of the Sommerfeld Church and had been employed by IRB Construction for 10 years. Jacob was preceded in death by his grandfathers Franz Wall and Abraham Friesen.
Jacob is survived by his wife MaryAnn Friesen of Seminole; his parents David and Elena Wall Friesen of Brownfield; six brothers Abram Friesen, Francisco Friesen, David Friesen, Peter Friesen, Johan Friesen and Cornelius Friesen; three sisters Aganetha Peters, Susana Froese and Helena Friesen; his in-laws Pete and Susie Rempel; and his grandmothers Aganetha Wall and Susana Friesen; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
