SPEARMAN — Annabelle Snyder Pearson, 83, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013.

Services will be held Thursday 2:00 p.m. in the First Assembly of God in Spearman. Burial will follow at Hansford Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Annabelle was born Oct. 16, 1930, in Wolf Creek Township, Pa., to Carl M. Snyder and Mary Magdalena Moon Snyder.

Annabelle grew up in Grove City, Pa. She came from a family of 11 children and is survived only by her sister Betty Jane Seelbaugh.

She joined the Marine Corps. in October 1951 and when stationed in Arlington, Va. She met and married Murl Pearson. They were married by their Marine chaplain, Aug. 6, 1952. Later they moved to Murl's home state of Texas, putting down their roots in Hansford County.

She and Murl owned and operated Hi-Plains Conoco in Spearman for many years. Together with Murl she raised six children. Edwin and Johnny met her as she entered the gates of heaven and welcomed her to her eternal home. Ann's love for her God, family, friends and church family remained her focus, but mostly for her God. As she always said, "Because" without God in her life the rest would have been all in vain. We love you, to the most wonderful, giving, precious, loving wife, mama and grandma ever.

She is survived by her husband, Murl Pearson; two daughters, Theresa Davis and husband Larry of Houston, and Linda Town and husband Bruce of Spearman; two sons, David Pearson and wife Cyndi of Perryton, Calvin Pearson and wife Darla of Logan, N.M. and 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Hansford Manor and Hansford Hospice, 707 Roland Spearman, TX 79081.
