SPEARMAN - Phillip Joseph Renner, 69, of Spearman went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 29, 2018. The Holy Rosary will be said on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spearman. Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. Father James M. Schmitmeyer will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Hansford Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman.

Phillip was born on December 11, 1948, in Amarillo, Texas to Clarence and Eloise Renner. Lynna and Phillip Renner were married in Spearman on December 30, 1971. He graduated from Spearman High School in 1967 and attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. Phillip was very passionate about his Catholic faith and was always serving the Lord at his church and in his community. He was a very devoted husband, father, Grandad, son, brother, and friend.

Phillip lived in Spearman his entire life where he enjoyed farming and ranching. He was a self-employed farmer and rancher for 50 years, beginning in Hansford County in 1968. His greatest joy in life was the love he had for his family. Phillip loved watching his grandchildren participate in one of their many activities and traveling to Vegas as often as he could.

Phillip was preceded in death by his wife, Lynna, his parents and a daughter, Robyn Rachelle Renner. He is survived by daughters, Randie Baumann and husband, David, of Canyon; Ronda Haynes and husband, Leonard, of Clarendon; sons, Reagan Renner and wife, Kristie, of Keller and Rhett Renner and wife, Brittney, of Spearman and all of his grandchildren, Slade and Thatcher Baumann, Grant and Parker Haynes, Payne and Phynlee Renner, and Brilynn and Tegan Renner. He is survived by his sisters, Diane Maxwell of Spearman and Amy Holland and husband, Jay, of Austin. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Cathy McCoy, and husband, Mike, of Perryton; a brother-in-law, Glen Ray Mackie, and wife, Laura, of Spearman; a sister-in-law Michele Davis and husband, Mike, of Amarillo.

Lynna Jean Mackie Renner, 64, of Spearman went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 21, 2016. The Holy Rosary will be said on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spearman. Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. Father Scott Raef will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Hansford Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman.

Lynna was born on February 25, 1952 in Amarillo, Texas to Glen and Norma Jean Hutton Mackie. Lynna and Phillip Renner were married in Spearman on December 30, 1971. She attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK. She was active in Big Brothers Big Sisters as well as Meals on Wheels. Lynna was very passionate about her Catholic faith and was always serving the Lord at her church and in her community. She was a very loving, wife, mother and grandmother. Lynna lived her life to help others that were in need.

Lynna was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Robyn Rachelle Renner. She is survived by her husband, Phillip of the home, daughters, Randie Baumann and husband, David, of Canyon; Ronda Haynes and husband, Leonard, of Clarendon; sons, Reagan Renner and wife, Kristie, of Keller and Rhett Renner and wife, Brittney, of Spearman. She is also survived by a sister, Cathy McCoy and husband, Mike, of Perryton; a brother, Glen Ray Mackie and wife, Laura, of Spearman; a sister Michele Davis and husband, Mike, of Amarillo; sisters-in-law Diane Maxwell of Spearman and Amy Holland and husband, Jay, of Austin and grandchildren, Slade and Thatcher Baumann, Grant and Parker Haynes, Payne and Phynlee Renner, and Brilynn and Tegan Renner.
