SPEARMAN - Ellen Elizabeth Reynolds, 79, died Monday, April 2, 2007.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in First Christian Church with the Rev. Ken Cole officiating. Burial will be in Hansford Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Mrs. Reynolds was born Jan. 14, 1928, in Mobeetie to John and Atta Hash. She married Cecil L. Reynolds on Feb. 9, 1947, in Borger.

She was a telephone operator and an insurance clerk for Dr. R.L. Kleeberger for many years. She was a member of First Christian Church in Spearman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Virgil Reynolds; and a daughter, Becky Peterson.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Katherine Coventry and husband Mark of St. Charles, Mo.; a half brother, Cecil Ray Chisholm and wife Diane of Borger; a half sister, Sheila Ray Henneson of Glendale, Calif.; two grandsons, Barry Goodall of St. Charles and Matt Coventry of Champaign, Ill.; four granddaughters, Michellr Griffith of Kemphill, Ala., Taffy Robbins of Springfield, Ill., April Stephens of Amarillo and Tasha Rodriguez of Fort Worth; two cousins, Sammy and James McNulty of El Cajon, Calif.; a niece, Tammy Pfieffer and husband Fred of Loveland, Colo; and two nephews, Chris Chisum and wife Kelley and Timothy Chisum, both of Borger.

The family suggests memorials be to the Reynolds Family, in care of Interstate Bank, 322 Main St., Spearman, TX 79081.

SPEARMAN - Cecil L. Reynolds, 86, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in First Christian Church with Jim Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Hansford Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Mr. Reynolds was born Oct. 29, 1921, in Booker to Dallas and Mattie Reynolds. He married Ellen Hash on Feb. 4, 1947. She preceded him in death in 2007. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict, serving in Okinawa and Korea. He was awarded the Bronze Star for valor.

He farmed and ranched a few years, becoming a licensed plumber from 1953 until retiring in 2000. He was a member of First Christian Church in Spearman.

He also was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Virgil Reynolds; a daughter, Becky Peterson; and two sisters, Evelyn Yancey and Gertrude Reynolds.

Survivors include a daughter, Katherine Coventry and husband Mark of St. Charles, Mo.; four grandchildren, Michelle Griffith and husband Danny of Camp Hill, Ala., Barry Goodall of St. Charles, April Stephens and husband Jason of Amarillo and Tasha Rodriguez and husband Rudy of Fort Worth; 12 great-grandchildren, Brian Ahlstrom, Brandon Ahlstrom, Katherine Griffith, Kurtis Griffith and Jake Griffith, all of Camp Hill, Bonny York and Chase Stephens, both of Amarillo, Christopher Goodall of Kansas, Camron Goodall of Indianapolis, and Alex Rodriguez, Rane Rodriguez and Nickolas Rodriguez, all of Fort Worth; three brothers, Olanda Reynolds and wife Anita of Borger, Leslie Reynolds and wife Billie of San Antonio and Gene Reynolds and wife Ramona of Gruver; and two sisters, Nathalie Turner and Dallasene Reynolds, both of Spearman.

The family suggests memorials be to benefit the family, in care of First State Bank, P.O. Box 247, Spearman, TX 79081.
