ELLIOTT
Ernest "Speck" Elliott, 63, of Rockdale and formerly of Cameron, died in a Temple hospital Friday morning after a short illness.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Green Funeral Home in Cameron with the Rev. Gene Steger officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
A former resident of Cameron, Mr. Elliott had lived in Rockdale for the past two years. He had been in the restaurant business.
Surviving are his wife, Doris Elliott of Rockdale; one son, Bobby Elliott of Rockdale; two brothers, Jack Elliott of Dallas and Jake Elliott of Hammond, La.; three sisters, Pansy Tucker, Willie B. Mullinax and Patsy Price, all of Cameron; and two grandchildren.
