ERNEST BROD

Ernest L. Brod, 82, died Thursday afternoon after apparently suffering a heart attack while working at Cameron Livestock Auction.
Mr. Brod was born in Colorado County and had lived in Cameron for many years. He was a rancher and was employed by the Cameron Livestock Auction.
Funeral services were at 2:30 p. m. Saturday in Green's Funeral chapel, Rev. Ben Pierce and Minister David Echols officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Survivors are two sons, Edwin Brod and V. J. Brod, both of Cameron: three daughters, Mrs. Sam Brewer, Mrs. Vance Brock, both of Cameron, and Mrs. A. R. Bomd of Huntsville, Ala; two sisters, Mrs. Ray McAttee of Rosebud and Mrs. Lee Marek of Cameron; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
