SPEARMAN - Nathalie Bernice Turner, 85, died Friday, May 1, 2009.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Christian Church with Brent Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Hansford Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Mrs. Turner was born Feb. 4, 1924, in Lipscomb County to Dallas and Mattie Reynolds. She married B.J. Turner on July 27, 1942, in Perryton. They made their home on their farm near Waka for 52 years. He preceded her in death in 1997.

She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church in Spearman.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Evelyn Yancy; a brother, Cecil Reynolds; three grandchildren, Adam and Sabrina Coffman and Jennifer Turner; and a son-in-law, Charles Cudd.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Cudd of Waka; two sons, Phillip Turner and wife Molly of Waka and Larry Turner and wife Alesia of Abilene; three brothers, Olanda Reynolds and wife Anita of Borger, Leslie Reynolds and wife Billie of San Antonio and Gene Reynolds and wife Ramona of Gruver; a sister, Dallasene Reynolds of Spearman; a grandson, Mike Cudd of Waka; four granddaughters, Teressa Creswell of Perryton, Stormy Richardson of May, Okla., Deana Shields of Weatherford, Okla., and Cinda Wolf of Ulysses, Kan.; 13 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Hansford Manor, 707 S. Roland, Spearman, TX 79081; or Hansford Hospice, 707 S. Roland, Spearman, TX 79081.
