LELAND GREEN, SR.

CAMERON - Funeral for Leland Green Sr., 80, former mayor and city councilman of Cameron, was held Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Cameron with Rev. Alvin Coleman officiating. He was buried in Oakhill Cemetery.
Green, who was widely-known in Central Texas as a merchant, rancher and funeral director, died Sunday in a Cameron hospital.
He was born Nov. 11, 1890 in Madison County, Ala., and moved to Cameron in 1907.
Survivors include his wife, Vera Green, of Cameron; daughter, Mrs. Frank Perrin of Cameron; two sons, Leland Green Jr. and Carroll M. Green of Cameron; two brothers, John C. Green of Rosebud and W. L. Green of Lubbock; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
