Jossie Estelle Gilbreath, 72, a resident of Floydada since 1952, died on November 26, 2006 at W. J. Mangold Hospital, Lockney, TX.

Mrs. Gilbreath was born January 13, 1934 in Paden, Oklahoma to the late Harley and Clarice Bradley. She married Bill Gilbreath on January 28, 1951 in Lockney. Mrs. Gilbreath was a manager of the school cafeteria for FISD until retirement. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association. She was also a very active, involved member of Calvary Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Floydada.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and one daughter, Beverly Gilbreath Anderson.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Gilbreath of Floydada; 2 sons, Garry Gilbreath and wife, Wanda of Terrell, TX; and Wayne Gilbreath and wife, Ann of Lubbock, TX; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 4 sisters.

The family greeted friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at the Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home of Floydada. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 30, 2006 at Calvary Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Floydada. Reverend Armando Morales, Pastor, and Claude Porter officiated. Burial was held at the Floydada Cemetery in Floydada, under the direction of Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home of Floydada. The family suggest memorials to Calvary Cornerstone Fellowship Church, 505 North 2nd, Floydada, TX 79235.
