Funeral services for Edna E. Gilly, 81, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God in Plainview with the Rev. Randy Santiago and the Rev. Vance Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Floydada Cemetery by Bartley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gilly died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, at her residence. She was born Feb. 17, 1926, in Floyd County to Jessie and Ruthie Belle Patterson. She married Emory Eugene Gilly on April 12, 1941. He died May 7, 1972. They were lifelong residents of Floyd County and were involved in farming and ranching in the Cedar Hill community until she moved to Plainview in 1996. She was active in her church in Cedar Hill until it joined with the Assembly of God in Floydada. She then attended First Assembly of God in Plainview.

Survivors include one son, Mark Gilly and wife, Beth, of Dimmitt; one daughter, Deliece Harrison and husband, J.T., of Hale Center; one daughter-in-law, Trudi Gilly of Floydada; one brother, Lucius Hill of Idaho; one sister, Sheila Shirato of Dallas; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous aunts, nieces and nephews. Two sons, Craig Gilly and Ronald Gilly, are deceased.

The family suggests memorials to First Assembly of God in Plainview or Trinity Broadcasting Network.
