Funeral services for Warren Graham, 83, were held Tuesday, April 20, 2004 in First Baptist Church in Lockney. Rev. Charles Broadhurst of Amarillo and Brent Williamson of Pampa officiated.

Burial was in Lockney Cemetery under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview.

Mr. Graham died at 5:14 a.m. Sunday, April 18, 2004 in Lockney.

He was born April 6, 1921 in Lockney where he grew up and graduated from high school in 1940. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II as an engine mechanic.

After his service, he returned to Lockney and farmed, then worked as a mechanic for Green Machinery in Plainview for many years. He later worked for the City of Plainview for 20 years as a street foreman, retiring in 1987.

He was a member of Seth Ward Baptist Church in Plainview.

Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law, Jim Graham and H.G. and Karen Graham, all of Lockney, and Gary Graham of Plainview; a sister and brother-in-law, Naomi and Bill Williams of Pampa; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Meagan Graham Bench; three brothers, Tom, Clayton, and Parker Graham; two sisters, Ruth Sadix and Ester Hill.

The family received friends at Lemons funeral Home Monday. They suggest memorials to VistaCare Hospice of Plainview or the Floyd County Friends Unity Center.
