SPEARMAN - Melissa Jane Robertson Vasquez, 42, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Spearman High School Auditorium with the Rev. Ken Cole and Derrel Evins officiating. Burial will be in Hansford Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Vasquez was born Jan. 10, 1962, in Spearman and was a lifetime resident. She married Willie Vasquez on March 13, 1981, in Spearman. She was a cafeteria worker with the Spearman Independent School District since 1984 and worked at Murmur's Cafe.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Reggie Robertson; and her grandparents, Jeff and Lola Melton and L.B. Robertson.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, T.J. Vasquez and wife, Katrina, Eric Vasquez and Marcus Vasquez, all of Spearman; her parents, Reg and Jody Robertson of Spearman; a sister, Tammy White and husband, Chris, of Fritch; her grandmother, Irene Smith of Clinton, Okla.; and two granddaughters, Patience Vasquez and Tessa Jane Vasquez, both of Spearman.

The family suggests memorials be to Hansford Hospice, 707 S. Roland St., Spearman, TX 79081.
