John Wilde married Doris Barrett on 1 September 1944 at Pampa, Texas.
Services for John R. Wilde, 65, were held at Union Church. Mr. Wilde was raised in Graham and moved to Pampa in 1944 and Spearman in 1957. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was a member of Hansford Masonic Lodge, El Paso Consistory, and Spearman Union Church.
Survived by his wife; two daughters - Mrs. Charles R. Adkison and Mrs. Barbara J. Whitefield; two brothers - Garner L. Wilde and H. Dan Wilde; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
