Jerry Don Younger 76, of Spearman passed away Monday November 27, 2017 at his home in Spearman.
Graveside service will be Thursday November 30, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Hansford Cemetery with Rev. Billy Snider of the First Assembly of God Church of Amarillo. Arrangements are with Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.
Jerry was born March 9, 1941 in Sulpher Springs, Texas to James Cole and Phyllis "Allsup" Younger. He married Gwendolyn Colquitt on December 27, 1961 in Houston, Texas. He served in the United States Army and worked as a Irrigation mechanic for Spearman Industrial Engines and H & H water well service. His favorate hobby was hunting.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a brother and a granddaughter.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Sondra Thomas and husband Larry of Spearman, Kim Stanley and husband Paul, and Patty Wilkins and husband Victor both of Amarillo. 6 Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
