February 25, 1945 - April 17, 2018
Domingo Luna, age 73, passed away, Tuesday, April 17, 2018. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 20, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Lockney. Interment will follow at the Lockney Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Lockney. Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore Rose Funeral of Lockney.
Domingo Luna, Sr. was born on February 25, 1945 to Presentacion and Maria Santos Luna in Hondo, Texas. He married Sara Felan on July 4, 1960. He was a full time Pastor of Assembly of God Church, he had 40 years in the ministry. He graduated from the Assembly of God Bible Institute. Domingo pastored in Lockney, Tx, Vernon, Tx and Muleshoe, Tx. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed doing carpentry work. Domingo loved spending time with his family. He was loved and will be missed by so many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Peggy Luna, two brothers and one sister.
Domingo is survived by his wife of the home, Sara Felan, his children, Dalia Bernal of Vernon, Sandra Vasquez of Lubbock, Phillip Luna of Lockney, Louis Luna of Lockney, Domingo Luna, Jr., of Vernon, Mary Clemente of Vernon, Michael Luna of Lockney, Rebecca Faubion of Burnet, 4 son in laws, and 2 daughter in laws, 29 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, he is also survived by 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
