BARTOW JACKSON, 57, DIES IN AUTO CRASH, RITES HELD MONDAY
Funeral services for Bartow Jackson, 57, who was fatally injured in a two car accident Sunday near Hutto, were held Monday at First Baptist Church. Rev. James Lafferty officiated with burial in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Jackson was a wholesale grocery salesman. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of Cameron; two sons, Thomas Jackson of Dallas and Bobby Jackson of Houston; four brothers, Curtis Jackson of Milano, Claude Jackson of Houston, Laverta Jackson of Houston and George Jackson of California; four sisters, Minnie Stout of Dallas, Hadee Veckert of Texas City, Zelma Baggett of Milano and Thelma Horelica of Cameron. Also surviving are two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Leeman Wilson, Bob Curtis, Ed Manning, Bob Wells, E. L. Wied, Hubert McClaren, Alex McLeod and Dana Kestenbaum.
Marek - Burns Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
