The Heavenly Father sent Frances into the world in care of Carl and Dessie Smythe on April 13, 1937 and called her home on Wednesday, February 26, 2020.
Frances married Robert (Bob) Hartman in September of 1959. They raised three children together. Frances was a very outgoing and talented women, who set out to accomplish everything she put her mind to. She was an amazing florist and owned Lubbock Water Works until her retirement. Frances was very supportive of her children and grandchildren in all they did.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Dessie Smythe and a brother Jerry Smythe.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Bob Hartman of Lubbock, TX. Her three children, son Danny (Paula) Hartman of Lipan, TX, daughter Lynn (Cecil) Pearce of Andrews, TX and son Rowdy (Betsy) Hartman of Lubbock, TX. Four grandchildren Dannell (Bobby) Rodgers of Lipan, TX, Natasha (Chris) Johnson of Andrews, TX, Kaden Hartman of Lubbock, TX and Ella Hartman of Lubbock, TX. Two great grandchildren Addison and Benjamin Johnson of Andrews TX. Sister Paulene Moore of Plainview, TX
In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations to Hospice of Lubbock.
Graveside service will be Saturday March 14, at 11:00am at the Lockney Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada
