George W. Sparks, 91, of Floydada died about 9:15 p.m. Monday in Caprock Hospital in Floydada following a lengthy illness.
A retired farmer, Mr. Sparks resided in Crosbyton from 1959 until 1962. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Loye H. of Santa Barbara, Calif., and S. E. (Bud) Sparks of Floydada; a daughter, Mrs. Alvie (Nita) Jackson of Floydada; two sisters; three grand-children, and seven great-grandchildren.
