*Obituary
Services for C. W. Froust, 85, of Abernathy, TX were held at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 29, 2011, in the First Baptist Church. with Rev. Larry Cothrin officiating. Burial followed in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. The Froust family gathered at Abell Funeral Home Sunday, March 27, 2011, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm to receive friends. Mr. Froust died Thursday, March 24, 2011, in Lubbock, TX.

He was born August 26, 1925 in Pineville, LA and served in the United States Navy from 1944-1946. He married Sharon Louise Morgan on August 4, 1979 in Abernathy, TX. He went to work for Baker Office Products, Lubbock, TX, as a salesman in 1960, and continued working until his death. He loved country music, reading and history. He liked to tell people that he played the piano in the Texas Tech marching band.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Marcile Suit. He is survived by his wife, Sharon of Abernathy, TX, 7 children, Beth Ethridge and husband Troy of Bedford, TX, Bryan Froust, Shannon Pettit and wife Vicki all of Lubbock, TX, Bobby Morgan of San Antonio, TX, Shaneva Johnson of Austin, MN, Jerry Morgan and wife Miki of St. Louis, MO, and Cassandra Beck and Husband Howard of Lubbock, TX, 20 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
