The Wellington Leader June 30, 1922
Tuesday morning June 27, Ewell Preston, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Combs of this city, died of stomach trouble after an illness of several months duration. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 5 o'clock by the Rev. E. L. Sisk, and burial made in Wellington Cemetery. Ewell Preston was born Sept. 12, 1912 and was 9 years, 9 months and 15 days old. He was the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Franks, also of this city.
