Graveside services for Robbie Welcome "Bob" Heath, of Abernathy, TX, were held at 10:30 am, Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, at Abell Funeral Home with burial in the Abernathy Cemetery. Rev. Joel Perez officiated. Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy, TX. The family received friends at Abell Funeral Home, Wednesday from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm. Mr. Heath died Tuesday, October 25, 2011, in Abernathy.

He was born November 17, 1940 in Lubbock, TX to Robbie and Ruby Katherine (Cook) Heath. He graduated from Abernathy High School in 1959 and served in the United States Army from 1966 until 1968. He married Wanda Nell Kinney on April 25, 1985 in Knox City, TX. He was employed with Hale County Precinct 3 and Consumers Fuel Assn in Abernathy prior to his work at Amoco Production retiring in 1991. He owned and operated Miscellaneous Shop in Littlefield, TX from 1989 until 1998.

He is survived by his wife Wanda Heath of Abernathy, TX, a son Mark Heath and wife Becky of Lubbock, TX, 2 daughters, Mischelle Oliver and her husband Ronnie of Stephenville, TX and Tanya Staggs of Cabot, Ark, 8 grandchildren, Kris Ortiz and wife Stephanie, Samantha Ortiz and Luke Ortiz, Tori Bishop, Paige Ball, Remington Oliver and wife Whitney, Brawnson Oliver and Chenille Oliver and a great grandson, Balin Bishop.
