BUCKHOLTS - Bennie W. Janes, 73, of Buckholts died at his home Thursday afternoon, apparently of a heart attack.
Services were 10 a. m. Saturday at Marek - Burns - Laywell Funeral Home, with the Rev. Eugene Kotrla officiating.
Burial was in Hope Lutheran Memorial Park at Buckholts.
He was born at Wesley and was a veteran of World War II and a retired machinist. He was a member of the Buckholts Brethren Church and SPJST No. 15 of Buckholts.
Survivors are two brothers; Frank Janes Jr. of Dallas and Alvin Janes of Groves; and three sisters, Tillie Matthews of Cameron, and Olga Hundle and Johnnie Z. Williams, both of Buckholts.
