JUDGE CRISWELL'S SON DROWNED

The many friends of Judge and Mrs. Criswell of Buckholts deeply sympathize with them in the loss of their little six year old son, Waymon, who was accidently drowned in the home tank Monday, Sept. 20th. He disappeared from the house about 3 p. m., and when he did not return in the afternoon his parents became alarmed and searching parties were exerting every effort to find him. Mr. Edwin Hardy finally found him. Mr. Edwin Hardy finally found him dead in the tank about 200 yards from the house. When last seen the child was playing with his dog and it is supposed that in running he fell and rolled into the water and no one was near enough to hear his cries of help him. This child was the idol of the household and his funeral was largely attended. Judge Watson, George Graves, Watt Henderson, Jeff T. Kemp, Mr. Sam Lae and family from Cameron were present. Rev. Will Whitley assisted by Rev. J. W. Campbell conducted the funeral services.
