Mrs. Oney
Funeral services for Mrs. Phyllis Jean Oney, 46, of Evant were conducted Feb. 24 in the Evant Funeral HOme Chapel with the Rev. Dean Coultas officiating. Burial followed in the Pearl Cemetery.
She died Feb. 23 in Gatesville.]
Mrs. Oney was born May 2, 1942, in West Liberty, Ky., to the late Charles and Daisey Hollon Adams. She married Henry Oney July 12, 1961. An Evant resident since 1960, Mrs. Oney was employed at Alexander Molding Mill in Hamilton.
Survivors include her husband of Evant, her children, Connie Timmons of Evant, Robert Oney of Gatesville and Bonnie Goulart of Evant; a brother, Ronald Adams of Marshall; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jake Parrish, Herman Lanmon, Wade Caraway, Eldon Perkins, B.B. Botkin and Stanley Stanford.
