EUGENE M. BOYD DIES AT AGE OF 94; SERVICES THURSDAY

Eugene M. Boyd died at midnight Tuesday, at the age of ninety four, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. E. Chamberlain near Cameron. Mr. Boyd was born February 18, 1860 at Memphis, Tenn., and moved to Arkansas with his parents at an early age. Later the family moved to Milam County, where he made his home for the past 75 years near Cameron.
Among his survivors are one son L. C. Boyd and one daughter, Mrs. W. E. Chamberlain both of Cameron.
He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Carrie Ferguson of Shreveport, La., and two grand children and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services were scheduled at 2:00 p. m. Thursday, November 18, 1954, at the Chapel of Green's Funeral Home, with Rev. A. F. Russell, pastor of First Baptist church officiating. Interment in Walkers Creek Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were: V. L. Angell, John Jinks, O. L. Hightower, H. H. Chamberlain, J. P. Harwell, Jessie Hickman, J. D. Martin and F. H. Scarborough.
Honorary pallbearers were: R. T. Delahunty, C. M. Ford, Henry Reeves, Dave Link, Roy Hightower, Will Vaughan, John Thweatt and Gilford Thweatt.
