MARAK

John S. Marak, 79, of Marak died Friday in a Cameron nursing home.
Services were at 2 p. m. Sunday at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Marak, with the Rev. Tom Chamberlain officiating.
Burial was in Marak Cemetery.
Rosary was recited at 8 p. m. Saturday at Marak - Burns - Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
Mr. Marak was born in Bomarton. He was a retired farmer who was also a trustee for many years at Marak Independent School District. He was a member of the KJT Lodge in Marak.
Survivors are his widow, Regina Marak of Marak; four sons, Adolf Marak of Temple, Eugene Marak and Johnny Marak, both of Cameron, and Frank Marak of Houston; two daughters, Mary Z. Ucha of Pasadena and Gloria Shelton of Cameron; one brother Henry Marak of Shreveport, La.; four sisters, Mollie Hubnik of Odessa, Annie Ermis, Agnes Carr and Margaret Johnson, all of Austin, 20 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
