(Marshal Guy (Bud) Anderson went home to be with the Lord on 23 December 2013 at 0752 AM.

Born February 20, 1923. He died in a veterans nursing home in Florence Colorado. He was 90 years old.

Marshal married Betty Lemon in 1946 and just had their 67th anniversary.

He moved to Borger Texas in 1936 and worked for Phillips Petroleum, Continental Oil, and retired from Texas Oil & Gas in 1986. He worked in the Oil field for 55 years.

He is survived by his wife Betty Anderson, two sons David and Don Anderson, 8 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

His wife Betty resides in Florissant Colorado and lives with David and Peggy Anderson.

He was drafted in the Army on January 13 1943 and was discharged on January 1946. He was inducted at Fort Sill Oklahoma. He was in the 58th Coast Artillery and attached to 13 Air Force PT boats He first was in Australia and saw duty in the Pacific theater. During his time in the army he was in French Hessian, New Guinea, Indonesia, Solomon Islands, Hon lea, and the Philippines. After his service he was discharged at Fort Sam Houston.

Dad you will be missed. You often would show kindness for everyone. Your family will keep that kindness in their hearts. You will be missed; yet, your goodness will survive through you children and grandchildren. Daddy/Papa we love you. Watch over us from Heaven.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, December 27, 2013.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Stinnett Cemetery.
