STINNETT - George E. Anderson, Sr., 66, died Saturday, May 6, 1995 in his home.
Graveside services were at 10:30 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Lewis, pastor First Baptist Church in Sanford, officiating.
Burial was by Brown Funeral Directors.
A native of Compton, Calif., he was a resident of Stinnett. He was a retired operator with Occidental Petroleum, and member of First Baptist Church in Sanford.
He was a Marine and participated in the Atomic Bomb Test conducted at Bikini Atoll, Marshall Island.
He married Fae Bates Jan. 26, 1963 at Amarillo.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Robert Anderson of Ontario, Calif.; Stanley Wells of Gallup, N.M.; George "Eddie" Anderson, Jr., of Hennesey, Okla.; four daughter, Linda Anderson of Clinton, Ark.; Jackie Parkenson of Ontario, Calif.; Debbie Harrison of Fort Worth; Wenona Andress of Round Rock; two brothers, Bud Anderson of Stinnett; and Jack Anderson of Hemphill; a sister, Ruth Blair of Anahuac; 24 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
